5MinuteBot review

5minutebot.com · Crypto 5-minute markets · Automated execution · Ranked #3 of 11
7.7
PolyBotRank score / 10

Our verdict

The most statistically substantiated track record in this review by sample size — 130,468 trades is not a backtest anecdote. The hard-coded exposure limits and the plainly stated non-affiliation notice both read as an operator being careful rather than selling a dream. It ranks third rather than higher because the win rate describes older versions and there is no published user base to corroborate the numbers. Publish current-version stats and an active-user figure and this closes the gap fast.

How it works

5MinuteBot reads live prices for six crypto assets and places up/down positions on Polymarket's rolling 5-minute binary markets. The recommended Constellation strategy watches all six correlated markets at once and looks for a laggard — an asset that has not yet moved with the pack — within a 73–85% correlation band. A simpler BTC & ETH rules mode trades single markets on user-defined parameters instead. Risk controls are hard-coded rather than advisory: a maximum of three concurrent positions, $10.50 per trade, and $31.50 total exposure. The bot runs a consensus check at T+90 seconds, supports three-stage DCA, applies a BTC mean-reversion filter, and resolves positions automatically through Polymarket's closed-positions API.

Strengths and weaknesses

What works

  • 79.9% is the highest published win rate in our index, and 130,468 logged trades is by a wide margin the largest disclosed sample size of any bot here.
  • Risk limits are structural, not suggestions — the exposure cap is stated as a hard number and a percentage of bankroll.
  • Explicitly states it is an independent third-party tool with no Polymarket affiliation. Very few tools in this space bother, and it matters.
  • Non-custodial, with all execution through the user's own wallet.
  • Constellation's laggard-detection premise is a real statistical approach to correlated markets rather than a repackaged momentum rule.

What doesn't

  • No active user count, volume figure or aggregate P&L published — the weakest disclosure of the three leaders on user-base questions.
  • The 79.9% win rate is attributed to prior versions, so it does not describe the software currently shipping.
  • No pricing on the public page.
  • 5-minute binaries are the highest-frequency, highest-variance format on Polymarket. A strong win rate matters less here than the fee-and-slippage drag, which is not addressed.
  • The low per-trade cap makes this hard to scale for larger accounts.
